Description of the Activity:

Art Assistants is a 5th grade leadership program at Oakley Elementary. Art assistants come to the art room during dismissal time every day to take on additional responsibilities to help keep our art studio running. They help clean, organize, prep supplies, hang artwork as well as get extra art making time when all jobs are complete. The art assistant leadership program is a great opportunity for students to learn leadership skills, spend more time in a special interest subject, and develop stronger relationships with a teacher and the other art assistants
