Writer's Workshop
Please
have your child keep writing in the summer. Write about anything you do
in a journal with fun gel pens in any color. It makes it fun!!
Their writing included in class:
Beginning: When it happened-The other day, Today, Yesterday, Last night
Transition words like: First, Next, Last or Finally
How the person is Feeling: great, sick, mad, good, sad, scared. Show it not tell it. Tears ran down her face. His face turned green with sickness.
Remember to add a sound word in your writing.
