Already in our second month???!!! Time flies!!!
Special thanks to Mr. and Ms. Blau, Chapel´s parents, for working so hard for the Awesome Fall Festival!!!!!!
If someone wants and can join de PTO, please do it!!!! It will help your child, classroom, school and community!
On Friday, Sept. 30th we had our first ¨Bubble-Pic nic Party¨ that our room earned for being consistently using Oakley´s 3R´s! They are Amazing students, and we all had so much fun with bubbles!
Reading assessments are done and we are sending the results on Thursday 6th. Also, we are sending an extra note that explains what the test is about.
We are still working on Math assessments, soon we´ll let you know the results.
Please remember that:
-The orange folder must be checked by parents every day.
-Homework: goes home on Monday and must be returned and completed by Friday.
-Read every day 10 to 20 minutes. It can be any Spanish book, or the ones in the baggy books. We will be changing the books when they tell us that they want new ones. Every time they read a book, parents will fill in one line of the reading log.
-Wear tennis shoes on Friday.
-Return Library books on Wednesday!
-If you want to celebrate a birthday in our room, you need to contact us previously to explain you the rules and we´ll ask for authorization from the office!
Each child should have a bottle of water to keep in
Please remind your children how important it is to follow the 3 Rs of Oakley and make good choices!
